Thought I'd point out another possibility which I've seen more of lately.

It's possible somebody grabbed your account information and logged in with it.

No joke. I had someone hack into my eMail account and send a bunch of friends a link to a sales site about... male enhancement!

Quite embarrassing, haha. Anyway, my advice is to change up your password just in case. :)Kirkus MacGowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16316327747388017640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132275097242652461.post-11439667791569623892012-07-16T07:23:52.058+01:002012-07-16T07:23:52.058+01:00Marylin, I have one of those smart phone thingys t...Marylin, I have one of those smart phone thingys that I hardly use and I noticed on there with the apps that almost without exception all apps require permission to modify your memory and or delete stuff and access to your address book! Why do they need that? Simple answer is, they dont! I am convinced they are using this information for marketing re address books and as I said allows them to delete other stuff to make room for their app as It grows in size.

Get rid, is the AnswerAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18318793094470458468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132275097242652461.post-61951334743345863162012-07-16T03:23:10.645+01:002012-07-16T03:23:10.645+01:00Two months ago I would has asked if you were kiddi...Two months ago I would has asked if you were kidding about this, but not now. I was editing a three-sisters-one-mom memoir that was an excellent blend of questions asked by the mother, answered honestly, humorously and poignantly by her daughters. Somewhere along the way, the mother somehow connected with an online publication and without realizing it she gave permission to use her name and website. It was a mess. Now it's cleared up, but it took the happy buzz off the project. There are a lot of things out there that can trip you up.Marylin Warnerhttp://warnerwriting.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132275097242652461.post-1353658681907231062012-07-15T21:28:00.519+01:002012-07-15T21:28:00.519+01:00Hi Jules, Neither do I, and as I said in my previ...Hi Jules, Neither do I, and as I said in my previous response, normally when I click on something that that wants permission to do this I always click on 'cancel' I can't recall actually seeing the iTunes App asking for that permission, So it did piss me off.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18318793094470458468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132275097242652461.post-45454834196820088352012-07-15T21:04:51.042+01:002012-07-15T21:04:51.042+01:00You're kidding?
